Hi! Welcome to CookBook Reviewed. I am Danielle Phillipp, and I’m so excited you stopped by!
I want to tell you a little bit about myself so you can know who’s running this site, and maybe get a bit of an insight as to why I started this in the first place.
First off, I am a 27 year old wife to Clayton, and mother to Asher. Clayton and I have been married for nearly 9 years, and in those years I’ve come to this conclusion: My husband is the PICKIEST eater known to man. I compare his eating preferences to that of a 4 year old. Favorites of his are hot dogs, frozen burritos, PIZZA, hamburgers, you get the drift.
I, on the other hand, love healthy delicious food. I like to try new things and use lots of vegetables and different types of foods…but its super hard when I’m trying to feed my husband too.
Throughout the years I have become lazy in the kitchen simply because I couldn’t think of things to make that would make us both happy. Enter: NOW. I am determined to get back in that kitchen and do what I love! MAKE GOOD FOOD! Delicious food. Food that we both like.
Wanting to try new things, and make it more fun, I decided to start this site as a way to interact with others like myself, just trying to find a good cookbook with good recipes. I will do the testing in the kitchen, and sift through the good cookbooks and the bad cookbooks, and bring YOU the results! I also have a kitchen full of amazing tools that I LOVE! I hope to get more as the years go on, and plan on telling all of you what works best and what isn’t worth the moola.
And if you’re wondering about Asher, he is a hungry, plump, 8-month-old who is proving to be obsessed with any and all food you put infront of him! Keep it up Asher! No more room for picky eaters in this house!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope to help you find the best cookbook for you and your family (and mine!).
